Assistant Professor in Latin American and Caribbean History
Bloomfield College invites applications for a tenure-track, full time Assistant Professor in Latin American and Caribbean History. The successful candidate will teach a 3-3 course load, including both a three part Latin American-Caribbean History survey and upper division courses. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in History at date of appointment and be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching. The ideal candidate should be prepared to head a concentration in Latin American and Caribbean History and would have a secondary specialization in public history, Atlantic World, or Empire.
Bloomfield College is a small, liberal arts college located ten miles west of New York City. We are one of 27 colleges and universities in the United States with a PBI designation (Predominantly Black Institution) and seek candidates with teaching experience in diverse institutions.
