The Department of History and Anthropology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applicants for a 9-month, tenure-earning Assistant Professor position in Modern German History. The successful applicant must have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment and be able to teach either Western Civilization or World History surveys, as well as upper level and graduate courses in the field of specialization. UAB is a research university and faculty are expected to be actively engaged in research and publication.
