Raymond Walters College of the University of Cincinnati invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Western European History. The tenure-track appointment will begin September 1, 2011.
Raymond Walters College, University of Cincinnati is a suburban branch campus located twenty minutes from the central campus. College faculty enjoy easy access to the facilities of the University.
Job Description The candidate should have a primary field in Western European History (with France preferred, and excluding Russia) and a secondary field in Africa, Asia, Latin America, or the Middle East.
The candidate's primary responsibility will be teaching the European History survey, with potential additional courses utilizing the candidate's secondary field. The teaching load is 12 credit hours in each of the three quarters.
Min. Quals.: Ph.D. in European History and independent college level teaching experience are required, with additional scholarly activity (publications/professional presentations) preferred.
