The History Department of Portland State University invites applications for the position of tenure-track assistant professor in early modern British and Atlantic history to begin September 16, 2011. Preference will be given to applicants whose research and teaching fields connect the history of Britain (fifteenth-eighteenth centuries) to the Atlantic and/or world history.
