Rhinehart Postdoctoral Fellowship in British History, Appalachian State University. Open to scholars who have recently been or will shortly be awarded their doctorates in early modern or modern British history. Fellow will receive a stipend (under review) and have all appropriate academic support services. If a non–U.S. citizen is appointed, necessary arrangements will be made regarding visa requirements and travel expenses. Applications should include (1) one–page CV; (2) 400-word outline of the research project to be carried out at Appalachian State University, with a statement explaining why access to the Special Collections and other material at Appalachian State University would be helpful [for information about the Collections consult www.library.appstate.edu/collections, or email spcoll@appstate.edu]; (3) letter of recommendation from the candidate’s supervisor.
