Field of specialization is open, but ideal candidates will complement existing strengths of the department.
Teaching responsibilities include World Civilizations and U.S surveys and upper division courses. Teaching load is 3-3. Salisbury University is committed to fostering a diverse community that values faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in History (ABD nearing completion of dissertation will be considered. If ABD; would be hired at the rank of Instructor, with the expectation that candidate complete doctoral degree in a timely manner.).

The department intends to conduct preliminary interviews at the AHA annual meeting. Appointment will be contingent upon verification of eligibility to work in the U.S. Salisbury University is a selective undergraduate institution within the University System of Maryland.
