Washington University announces the 11th year of Modeling Interdisciplinary Inquiry, an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship Program designed to encourage interdisciplinary scholarship and teaching across the humanities and social sciences. We invite applications from recent Ph.D.s for the position as Fellow. In September 2011, the selected Fellow will join continuing Fellows to participate in the University’s ongoing interdisciplinary programs and seminar. The Fellows will receive a two year appointment with a stipend beginning at $44,450 per year. Postdoctoral Fellows plan and pursue their own continuing research in association with a senior faculty member at Washington University, and, over the course of their year appointment teach three undergraduate courses in the home discipline and collaborate in an interdisciplinary theory and methods workshop.
