The Department of History at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point seeks applications for a tenure track, assistant professorship in the field of U.S. Environmental History. The successful candidate will teach a 4-4 load comprised of two or three preps consisting of a combination of U.S. History survey sections, a global/comparative environmental history course, and one upper level U.S. environmental history. The department values strong communication skills, a commitment to undergraduate education, and awareness of the importance of diversity in education. A completed Ph.D. in history is preferred for appointment, and is required for retention and tenure. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
