ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF HISTORY
TENURE TRACK – FALL 2010
Tenure track position in post -1945 U.S. history, with preference given to a specialty in women’s/gender history. Teaching duties will include the introductory survey in U.S. history and upper-level courses in the candidate’s field of specialization. The candidate also will be expected to contribute to the teaching of required courses in Historiography and the Senior Seminar.
Ph.D. in History by September 1, 2010. College teaching experience required.
Faculty members are expected to maintain academic qualifications consistent with standards for scholarship and intellectual contributions, as well as fulfilling service obligations including college, school governance, academic advisement and professional development.
