Full-time Tenure Track Assistant Professor position in History, beginning August 2010.
A Ph.D. in 19th Century U.S. History is required or clearance for graduation with the Ph.D. is required before the position start date.
Preference will be given to candidates whose secondary fields include Latin American and/or Social/Cultural History. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence in teaching and an interest in teaching undergraduate students. The Stark campus offers a complete Baccalaureate major in History. The position carries a 4/4 teaching load, with expectations of scholarly activity and service to the university.
