20th Century United States. The History Department of Binghamton University, the State University of New York, invites applications for an advanced assistant or early associate professor, starting in Fall 2010. We welcome applications from those working in all fields of 20th century U.S. history. Applicants should have a strong publication record, demonstrated effectiveness in teaching, and be ready to mentor doctoral students. The successful candidate will join a department with a vibrant and sizable graduate program in U.S. history. Candidates should send a letter of application, a c.v. and three letters of recommendation to Professor Leigh Ann Wheeler, Chair of 20th Century U.S. Search Committee, Dept. of History, Binghamton University, Binghamton, NY 13902.
