The History Department of the University of West Georgia invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor in U.S. women’s history, starting in fall 2010. Specialties in either the 19th or 20th centuries are acceptable, but the candidate will be expected to teach courses in U.S. women’s history from colonial times to the present. Desirable subfields include southern history and African American history. Ph.D. is required and teaching experience preferred.
