Nineteenth Century U.S. The History Department at the University of Illinois at Chicago invites applications for an open rank position beginning August 2010, with a preference for an Associate or Full Professor. While no specific field is required, appointee is expected to be involved in the department's Ph.D. concentration in the history of Work, Race, and Gender in the Urban World, now in its ninth year.
