The History program at the Mansfield Campus of The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in U.S. history, field of specialization open, to begin September 2010. Ph.D. by time of appointment in September 2010, teaching experience and a strong commitment to continuing scholarly activity are required. Teaching duties will include the introductory survey in U.S. history and upper-level courses in the candidates field of specialization. Faculty on the Manfield campus are members of their university-wide departments, centered in Columbus.
