The History Department at Old Dominion University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in American History. Area of specialization is open. Ability to teach Virginia History, teaching at our main and Virginia Beach campuses and working with teacher preparation students are required. Ph.D. in History is required by time of appointment. Teaching experience and publications preferred. Position begins July 2010.
