Jewish History. The History Department and the Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Denver invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professorship in Jewish history, excluding American and modern Western/Central European history. The successful applicant will hold a joint position in Judaic Studies and History. Ph.D. preferred by time of appointment in September 2010. The successful candidate should be able to teach both history surveys and Jewish history courses, in programs that emphasize research and publication as well as undergraduate education in small classes.
