Europe/World. The Department of History, Political Science, and Geography at Drury University invites applications for a tenure-track position in modern European/world history, beginning August 2010 (open rank). The candidate should have the ability to teach introductory and upper-level classes in world history and modern Europe as well as contribute to Drurys interdisciplinary core curriculum. World history specialization is open, with preference given to Africa (no Latin America, Middle East, or China/Japan). Teaching load: 3/4. Teaching excellence and an active research agenda expected; PhD in history required by August 2010. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience.
