EUROPEAN HISTORY SINCE 1400 The Department of History at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in European History Since 1400, starting August 2009. Field of specialization is open but excludes Germany and Russia. Teaching responsibilities will include survey courses in World Civilization, upper-level undergraduate courses, and courses in the M.A. program. Ph.D. in hand or expected by August 10, 2009. The teaching load is four classes per semester. Additional duties include advising history majors and serving on committees. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and to maintaining an active scholarly agenda. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
