Islamic World. The University of North Carolina Greensboro invites applications at the rank of Assistant Professor for a historian of the Islamic World with geographical area and historical period of concentration open. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate survey courses and upper division courses in his or her specialty and will participate in the training of graduate students in our nationally recognized M.A. program. Applicants must hold or anticipate receiving the Ph.D. by August 1, 2009. Salary is competitive.
