The College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences at the University of Southern California seeks an early modern scholar whose teaching and research interests fall primarily in the period from c. 1600 to c. 1800. The successful applicant will be appointed at the assistant professor level in Art History, English, or History. Appointment in one department is most likely; however, in special circumstances, joint appointments will be considered when such an arrangement is in the best interest of the faculty member's professional development.
