The Department of History at Eastern Illinois University invites applications for a tenure track assistant professorship in the History of the Modern Middle East or South Asia. The successful candidate will have Ph.D. completed by date of appointment and demonstrate a commitment to both undergraduate and graduate teaching and to a program of scholarly activity.
