EMPORIA STATE UNIVERSITY in Kansas invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the history of the Atlantic World. Appointment begins August 2009. Ph.D. preferred. A.B.D. considered. The successful candidate should have teaching experience and be able to teach Colonial America. Sub-field in Latin American history preferred. The ability to teach introductory survey courses in American history, as well as upper-division and graduate courses in area of specialty is also preferred.
