HISTORY/SECONDARY EDUCATION PROFESSOR
The History Department at The College of New Jersey invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant or associate professorship (rank dependent on applicants qualifications), starting in fall 2009. Applicants must have Ph.D. in hand by August 2009 and an appreciable record of success as a teacher and scholar. Responsibilities include teaching courses in both history and social studies methods; supervision of student teaching; coordinating the secondary social studies teacher education program and advising history/ secondary education majors. Teaching experience and certification in K-12 education are strongly preferred.
