The Department of History at the University of California, San Diego, (http://historyweb.ucsd.edu//), invites applications for a faculty position in the history of 19th-20th century Korea. Position is tenured/ tenure-track (Assistant to early Associate) and contingent upon funding. The level of appointment will be determined on the candidate's skills and qualifications. Those whose advanced degree is not in history but whose scholarship and teaching include a strong historical dimension are also encouraged to apply. Salary will be commensurate with experience and publications and in accordance with guidelines of the University of California.
