East Asian History
The history department of the University of Missouri, flagship campus of the University of Missouri system and a Carnegie Doctoral Extensive university, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of East Asian history, to begin in fall 2009. Ph.D. in hand by the start of the appointment is expected. Exact research specialization is open, but a successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in modern Chinese history. The teaching load is two three-credit courses per semester.
