The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point seeks applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in East Asian History. The successful candidate should be prepared to teach a two-semester World History survey and advanced undergraduate courses in East Asian History. The department has a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and to the importance of diversity in education. Ph.D. preferred, A.B.D. considered. The Search Committee will contact finalists to arrange interviews for the AHA Convention held January 2-5, 2009 in New York City. The position will remain open until filled.
