History of Korea or Japan

The History Department of Loyola Marymount University invites applications for a full-time, entry-level, tenure-track position in the history of Korea or Japan. Teaching responsibilities include lower division survey courses in East Asia and upper division courses in the history of Japan or Korea. Ph.D. is required. Applicants should send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, academic transcripts, three letters of recommendation, a teaching philosophy statement, a list of upper division courses that they propose to teach, evidence of teaching diverse groups of students, and a publication sample, such as a journal article or dissertation chapter, to Dr. Lawrence A.
