Elizabethtown College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position for the fall of 2009 at the Assistant Professor rank in Modern European History with a concentration in encounters and exchanges beyond the Continent and Britain (i.e. the Middle East, Africa, Trans-Atlantic, etc.).
The successful candidate will be expected to teach both in the core as well as upper level courses in their area of concentration. Candidates should have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment. The teaching load is three courses per semester with undergraduate advising and normal committee work.
