Call for Papers Date:
Visions & Revisions: New Scholars, New Interpretations is calling for essays written by undergraduate students and book reviews written by graduate students for the 8th volume, due to print in fall 2015. The journal is published by the department of History, Anthropology, and World Languages at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
Visions & Revisions is an interdisciplinary journal, accepting submissions dealing with a wide range of topics. Special consideration is given to submissions concerning World History, US History, Art History, Archaeology, Cultural Anthropology, Physical Anthropology, Sociology, African American Studies, Women's Studies, and Latin American Studies.
*All submissions must conform to the requirements of the most recent edition of Kate L. Turabian's A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations.*
Undergraduate essays should be approximately 12 pages in length. Endnotes should be used to cite information, and a brief abstract should be included with the submission.
Graduate book reviews should be approximately 750-1000 words in length, and should refer to a book published since 2011.
