Call for additional essays for edited volume on medieval angelology.
Call for additional essays for edited volume on original scholarship in medieval angelology with a comparative/ interfaith focus.
For an edited volume of original essays on medieval angelology in art, literature, theology and/or philosophy from medieval Abrahamic faith traditions, essay titles and abstracts of 500 words are welcome. The volume already has a selection of essays from the medieval Christian perspective and so essays of new scholarship in medieval (CE) Jewish and Islamic angelology are especially welcome. Essays may address medieval angelology from a singular religious perspective or from an interfaith/ comparative perspective and according to a singular or inter/ multidisciplinary focus.
Proposals should include: working title, abstract of up to 500 words, and a brief cv. Proposals must be submitted by July 31, 2014: notification of accepted proposals will be sent out by August 15 and final drafts will be due by January 15, 2015 in order to submit chapters to the publishers for peer review.
