Berlin-Jerusalem Joint Post-Doctoral Fellowships Program
Freie Universität Berlin and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem launch the new Berlin-Jerusalem Joint Post-Doctoral Fellowships Program for highly qualified, early career post-doctoral researchers and offer an open call for
Two Joint Post-Doctoral Fellowships.
The call is open to all disciplines, thematic or subject areas that exist at both universities or are complementary. Each fellowship is awarded for 24 months and consists of two phases. 12 months of research are spent at Freie Universität Berlin followed by 12 months at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (or vice versa). The Post-Doctoral fellows will conduct their research project embedded in a team of Freie Universität and Hebrew University experienced researchers. The applicants shall suggest a research proposal and identify faculty members at both universities to serve as their principal supervisors. The criteria for the election of the grantees will be based on the academic excellence of the applicant and the quality of the proposed post-doctoral research project. The fellowships include a monthly stipend of € 1,500 and a one-time relocation allowance (€ 2,000). The Post-Doctoral fellows will further be eligible to apply for travel funding and will have access to the Academic Profile Development Program at Dahlem Research School.
