The Editors of Evental Aesthetics, an independent, peer-reviewed, online journal dedicated to philosophical and aesthetic intersections, are pleased to invite submissions for three issues, all scheduled for publication in 2014.
We welcome both full-length articles (4,000-10,000 words) and Collisions (1,000-2,500 words).Submission and formatting requirements, along with further information on Collisions, are available at http://eventalaesthetics.net/for-authors/.Submissions that do not meet our requirements will not be considered.
Each issue will have two parts, one dedicated to a specific theme, and the other (“unthemed”) devoted to aesthetic questions of any kind.Thus for each issue, the Editors seek submissions in two categories.
§Aesthetics and philosophy (“unthemed”): This section will be devoted to philosophical matters pertaining to any aesthetic practice or experience, including but not limited to art and everyday aesthetics.All three issues will contain this category.
§Fantasy (Deadline 31 March, 2014)
§Hijacking (Deadline 30 June 2014)
§Vital Materialism: Aesthetics and the Work of Jane Bennett (Deadline 30 September 2014)
