Please send Zeteo articles and essays that span more than one intellectual field (e.g. science and poetry, gender and urban studies, philosophy and politics). Our Fall 2013 issue featured: a dialogue on the ethical issues surrounding The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks; an examination of on personal identity and disease; a re-examination of the transgender television series (Xena); a demonstration of photo-elicitation involving Lewis Hine’s work; a look into the moral teaching of the Harry Potter series; and an imaginary new science, in which the distance separating perceiver and perceived disappears.
We are now looking for some strong pieces for our Spring 2014 issue. Zeteojournal.com has more detailed information.
(PS: We were pleased to see a recent NY Times op-ed (about King Lear and UK politics) refer to the combination of the "personal and the political" -- a phrase we often use at Zeteo.)
