Our institute "Movement, Mobilization, and Militarization: The Bay Area Home Front in World War II" will focus on the changing landscape of the Bay Area and America during World War II.
These workshops will bring together educators from across the nation to learn from leading scholars. We will visit key Bay Area landmarks with regard to the nationís World War II history. Teacher fellows will receive a stipend for their participation. Application deadline: March 4, 2014.
