For its Spring 2014 issue, Zeteo is looking for holistic articles and essays: pieces in which personal or political sources of the scholarís interest in her or his subject are made explicit and allowed to play a role in the larger discussion.
We also continue to be interested in articles and essays that span more than one intellectual field (e.g. science and poetry, gender and urban studies, philosophy and politics).
Zeteoís Fall 2013 issue featured: a dialogue on the ethical issues surrounding The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks; an examination of on personal identity and disease; a re-examination of the transgender television series (Xena); a demonstration of photo-elicitation involving Lewis Hineís work; a look into the moral teaching of the Harry Potter series; and an imaginary new science, in which the distance separating perceiver and perceived disappears.
We look forward to seeing what 2014 will bring!
