The journal Social Inclusion will launch a special issue under the title "Perspectives on Human Trafficking and Modern Forms of Slavery".
Mr. Siddharth Kara, one of the world's most foremost experts in the field, will serve as the Guest Editor for issue. Mr. Siddharth Kara is an Adjunct Lecturer on Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Director of the Carr Center Program on Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery.
Authors interested in submitting a paper for this special issue are kindly asked to consult the Instructions for Authors and Membership Requirement, and send their abstracts by email to Mr. António Vieira (email@example.com) by 30 April 2014.

Information: This issue will focus broadly on current perspectives relating to human trafficking and modern forms of slavery. A blend of economic, legal, human rights, public health, and other perspectives will be included, with a particular focus on new data. Definitional issues should be explored, as well as less documented forms of contemporary servitude, such as bonded labor, organ trafficking, and forced marriage. What constitutes contemporary forms of slavery, what is the latest data on slavery and human trafficking, how do we best frame the issue, and what is being done effectively to tackle this enduring violation of fundamental rights?
