I invite you to submit your application to attend the NEH Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshop at SIUE: Abraham Lincoln and the Forging of Modern America. The postmark due date is March 4, 2014, so please donít hesitate to send in your materials.
There are two scheduled sessions: June 23-27, and July 14-18, 2014. This workshop provides an excellent educational experience centered on the life of Abraham Lincoln and the development of historically rich lessons for students. During the workshop, we will hear expert lectures at SIUE and visit various historical sites in Springfield, Ill.
The workshop is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
The grant provides you a $1,200 stipend to augment the cost of housing, travel and incidentals, and a certificate of completion.
Additional certification options are provided by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville
