Language, Literature and Stylistics Symposiums have been held for the past 13 years in various countries for the purpose of creating an opportunity for all scholars in stylistics and literature come together and to hold discussions on the related fields and further the status of stylistics in our country. The primary purpose of these symposiums is to probe and grapple with the stylistic features in literature and language. However, there has been a negligence of this issue in the last symposiums in Gazi(2011), Edirne (2012), and Kafkas (2013). It has been vitally crucial to focus on the main strands in the symposium to be organized by Dokuz Eylul University as Direct Style and its alternatives as 1- Indirect Style, Rhetorical Style and 2-Discursive Style, Rambling Style.
It should be noted that the abstracts which remain out of these themes will be excluded from the symposium in Izmir.
We further request all academicians to take into account the strands of the direct and indirect style in their paper proposals.
