The M.A. program in African Studies at UCLA provides students with an opportunity to engage in intensive study and research on Africa on an interdisciplinary basis. The program offers African Area courses in a wide range of disciplines, including Anthropology, Art History, Geography, History, Political Science, World Arts & Cultures, and many others. The program also offers an articulated degree with the School of Public Health leading to the African Studies, M.A. / Public Health, M.P.H.
