Original Essays Wanted to Introduce Classic and Forgotten Texts
Turf Lane Press seeks submissions to further its aim in bringing classic texts to a new audience. We are looking for original essays between 1000 and 4000 words that introduce original sources you view as having been particularly influential for your research, you believe needs to be read by wider audience or a classic for which you can offer original insight. Essays will be reprinted alongside the original in E-book format. Texts need to be in the public domain, and can range in length from a short speech or pamphlet to a full book.
All submission are seriously considered, but at the moment we have particular preference for introductions to works from Victorian and Edwardian England, the British colonial rule of India, the American Civil War, early twentieth century America and English language sources from the First World War combatant countries.
Turf Lane Press operates as a traditional publisher with a modern twist. We undertake all aspects of marketing, proofreading, copy editing, confirmation of the copyright status and cover design. We offer our authors high levels of royalty with 25 per cent of the cover price paid for each sale, with royalties paid on a monthly basis.
Please submit the name and author of the book you would like to introduce, a 200 word summary of points included in your introduction and a brief biography to email@example.com
