There are still spots open for participants for the Southeast Missouri THaTCamp in Arcadia, MO on Sept. 28, 2013.
This informal conference focuses on the intersections of the humanities and technology. Participants will be able to share research, programs and ideas with fellow humanists and technologists.
Each participant will receive a $50 honorarium, thanks to a grant from The Missouri Humanities Council. There are also four free double occupancy rooms still available.
This particular THATcamp encourages participants to consider how the humanities and technology can serve and advance rural communities. But all other topics are welcome.
Space is limited to early registration is encouraged. Participants must register in advance in order to receive honorarium. Meals are provided. There are a limited number of free double occupancy rooms available at the conference site, The Arcadia Academy, in Arcadia, MO.
Arcadia, MO is about 2 hours from St.Louis and an hour from Cape Girardeau. Free pickup from STL airport available.
