The Joe and Wanda Corn Fellowship, endowed by their former students Mike Wilkins and Sheila Duignan, supports scholars whose research interests span American art and American history. Recipients will draw on the Smithsonian's broad resources in both areas, utilizing the holdings of the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. The fellowship is residential and supports full-time independent or dissertation research. Applications are due January 15, 2013.
For more information about the museum's fellowship program and a link to the online application, please visit www.AmericanArt.si.edu/fellowships/. Only one application is necessary for all Smithsonian American Art Museum fellowships; applicants listing a primary advisor/supervisor at the museum will automatically be considered in all relevant award categories.
