The Jozef Tischner Fellowship is awarded to a junior researcher from Poland or a young Polish-American scholar. The fellowship is open to all academic disciplines in the Humanities and Social Sciences; a thematic relation to one of the research fields of the IWM is strongly encouraged.
The Jozef Tischner Fellow will be invited to spend a six-month term from July to December 2013 at the IWM to pursue her/his research project while working in residence. The fellow will receive a stipend in the amount of EUR 9,300 to cover accommodation, living expenses, travel, health insurance and incidentals during the stay at the Institute. In addition, the IWM provides her/him with a personal office including access to internet, in-house research and administrative facilities as well as other services free of charge.
