The web page “Soviet prisoners of war in Norway” has been prepared by the Falstad Centre in Norway. It was launched in 2012 in connection with a travelling exhibition about this topic. The internet resource is an independent educational resource, aimed primarily at pupils and students.
The Falstad Centre is a national memorial and a centre for human rights in Norway. The Centre is situated in the buildings of the former German prison camp Falstad in central Norway. The main activities of the Centre are documentation, research, education and communication concerning the history of imprisonment during the Second World War.
The Internet resource is produced with support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture.
