Recently while browsing the stacks in the Sterling C. Evans Library at Texas A&M University I notices a series of volumes entitled Council of Planning Librarians Bibliographies, which were published between 1958 and 1978. Since I am a sometimes bibliograpier, I investigated these volumes and discovered the following titles which might be of interest to people who subscribe to this list.

Levett, Morris. Women's Role in American Politics, #446, 1973

Levenson, Rosaline, Women in Government and Politics: A Bibliography of American and Foreign Sources, #491, 1973

Davis, Lenwood G., The Woman in American Society: A Selected Bibliography, #554, 1974 (first edition) and #s810-811, 1975 (second edition)

Sharma, Prakash G., Female Working Role and Economic Development: A Selected Research Bibliography, #663, 1974

Struthers, M. Lynne, Women in Canadian Politics and Government--A Bibliography, #697, 1974

Swanick, Lynne Struthers, A Checklist of Canadian Federal, Provincial and Municipal Government Publications of Special Significance for Women #1118, 1976

Loyd, Bonnie, Women and Geogrpahy: An Annotated Bibliography and Guide to Sources of Information, $1159, 1976

Roysdon, Christy, Women in Engineering: A Bibliography on Their Progress and Prospects, #878, 1975

Schlacter, Gail and Donna Belli, The Changing Role of Women in America: A Selected Annotated Bibliography of Reference Sources, #931, 1975

Davis, Lenwood G., Black Women in the Cities, 1872-1975: A Bibliography of Published Works on the Life and Achievements of Black Women in Cities in the United States, #337, 1972 (first edition) #s751 and 752 (second edition)

Cardinale, Susan, Special Issues of Serials about Women, 1965-1975, #995, 1976 (An alphabetical list of journals with some indication to the contents about women)

Kirkpatrick, Meredith, Women in Public Service: A Selective Bibliography, #1465, 1978

Seager, Daniel A., Women's Studies: A Guide to Resources Available in the University of Northern Colorado Libraries, #s1506-1507, 1978

White, Anthony G., Rape: An Ruban Crime?: A Selected Bibliography, #1367, 1977

Issues 716-717, 1194-1195, and 1564-1565 are indexes to the other issues.

Each contains a numerical listing of the issues, an author index, and a subject or keyword index.

I checked only under the subject or keyword "women" to find all of the above except the very last one. That one I just happened to see the word "Rape" in flipping through the index. I did check the other two indexes but did not find any other references to rape.
I hope that this small listing of bibliographies will be of some use to those on this list even if the references are all nearly twenty years old.
