Kady Brownell

Query From Sara Bartlett  cw1861@wans.net  15 April 2000

I am collecting book material on Kady Brownell of the 1st and 5th Rhode Island of the U.S. Civil War. She is fairly well known, but I am having trouble finding much in-depth writing about her. So, I have come to you knowledgeable H-women folks. Has anyone come across the pipeline to Kady? Thanks so much.

Have you tried the Rhode Island Historical Society? They have an excellent library.
