Query From Jane Carey email@example.com 10 Sept 1998
I am researching Australian women scientists in the period 1930-1960, and am trying to find references on women scientists in the UK and Europe for comparative purposes. While there is a large body of literature on American women scientists in the twentieth century, and some material on women and science in Europe up to nineteenth century, I have been unable to locate many twentieth century European studies. I am wondering if anyones knows of any research conducted into this area. I would also be most grateful for any references relating to women as university students and/or staff of European/UK universities in this period as well.
