H-War Bibliography Submission Process: H-War welcomes its members to submit bibliographies on military history topics for possible inclusion on the H-War web page. Bibliographies should be submitted to the main H-War email address (mailto: h-war@h-net.org). They should be formatted according to the Chicago Manual of Style and split into a primary source section and a secondary source section. The on-duty Editor will receive the bibliography, and check to ensure that it adheres to the guidelines. After that, the Editor will send it out to the general H-War list for suggestions, emendations, and potential additions from the readership. It is up to the original author to decide whether to include the suggestions made by the list. Within a month of the submission, the author should submit a final copy of the bibliography, incorporating their chosen additions or deletions. The H-War editors will then decide as a group if the bibliography should be posted. The bibliography may be rejected if the editors do not feel that it is scholarly or if they believe it duplicates a bibliography already posted. If the editors do decide to post it, the bibliography will be put up on the H-War website along with a link to the discussion. The H-War Editorial Board
