Temporary editor's comment on the second paragraph of Yono's
comments.

A few folk have called me "nice", many have called me "witty"
although it is usually preceded by "wickedly", and on occasion a
person or two has noted that I can be a "gentleman". Yono, to the
best of my knowledge is the first to put the three together. Even
though this phrase may flow from the politeness for which Japanese
culture is justly famous I am truly flattered.

Colleagues:

I appreciate Richard and Gus's help. This reminds me of
Japan-US trade negotiations: We will solve the problem at the
last minute!! I am leaving Japan in about 27 hours and people in the
US are enjoying vacation in Florida??

I remember a nice witty gentleman, making an excellent presentation
at H-NET96. Thanks again.
