"Icebreakers" posts self-introductions by new members. These were written
by applicants for the survey, and are posted here with permission. It's
our hope that this practice will help continue to build an online network
of cooperating scholars in our field. You are welcome to use any of these
introductions as the launchpoint for a new thread, query, or reply.
Current subscribers are invited to update their entries in the list survey
and to forward their new introductions to the list. We encourage all of you
to post your self-introduction. We want to know you!!
